PCF Support for EDC 12

The PCF App now supports EDC 12, allowing you to upgrade to the latest connector version while maintaining continuity in your Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) data exchange.

What’s new?

  • Connect to EDC 12: Subscribe the PCF App directly to an EDC 12 connector.

  • Upgrade without losing your subscription: If you’re using EDC 10.3 with an active PCF subscription, you can upgrade to EDC 12 while keeping your existing subscription.

  • Exchange PCF data across connector versions: PCF data exchange is supported between EDC 12 connectors and between EDC 10.3 and EDC 12 connectors. This allows you to upgrade at your own pace without waiting for your partners to migrate. Additionally, an issue affecting PCF data exchange between two EDC 10.3 connectors has been resolved.

Bug Fixes

  • Corrected an issue that caused new PCF subscriptions to be created with incorrect policies, making PCF assets unavailable. Existing affected subscriptions have also been corrected.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented administrators from updating subscriptions after an EDC upgrade.

  • Resolved an issue in Certificate Management where updated certificate validity dates were not displayed correctly.

  • Fixed an error when selecting the Data Governance credential while creating a usage policy on EDC version 0.12.

  • Resolved an issue that prevented certificates from being saved and shared.

  • Fixed an issue where private properties were not saved when creating assets through the Dataspace OS Backend API.

  • Corrected an issue where manually entered certificate issuer information was stored in the wrong field, causing validation to fail for recipients.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented catalogs from being retrieved from certain partner EDCs, both through the setup wizard and the EDC menu.

  • You can now register multiple EDCs in a single DID document. Previously, only the most recently registered EDC was listed.

  • Corrected an incorrect message that indicated a certificate was private after it had been shared publicly.

  • Fixed an issue where creating a new EDC could trigger an unnecessary background migration.

  • Resolved an issue that prevented new EDCs from being created in the pre-production environment.

  • Corrected existing certificate data where issuer BPN information had been stored in the wrong field.
