Updating your EDC settings for the Saturn EDC upgrade
Before starting the upgrade, you need to update your EDC Connector settings. Technical users created before 20.06.2026 are not compatible with Saturn EDC and will cause errors during the upgrade.
Follow the 4 steps below to prepare your environment.
Step 1: Create a new technical user
In the Cofinity-X Portal, navigate to Technical Setup -> Technical User Management.
Create a new technical user specifically for EDC with Identity Wallet Management User Role.
Once the user is created (may take up to 5 mins), copy and save the following values:
OAuth Client ID
OAuth Client Secret
OAuth Token URL
Step 2: Get prepared the DIM URL from the Cofinity-X Portal
Navigate to: Technical Setup -> Connector Registration -> Open the Connector Configuration Details
Copy the value for dcp.sts.dim.url* for the next step.
Step 3: Update your EDC settings
Go to Edit EDC.
2. Replace the existing values in the corresponding fields with the OAuth Client ID, OAuth Client Secret, OAuth Token URL, and DIM URL you copied in Step 1 and 2.
Step 4: Start the upgrade
Click on the EDC you want to upgrade to open the component details
Scroll to the Version:
Consent the you have updated the OAuth Client ID, OAuth Client Secret, OAuth Token URL and DIM URL and click on Upgrade EDC.
