Business Partner Data Management

New Features:

  • BPNA Logic Updated such that now the same address within one legal entity (BPNL) will receive the same BPNA as per Neptune BPDM standard. This significantly eases the Company Certificate Management use case.

  • Mandatory use of Latin characters only as per Neptune BPDM standard. Non-latin characters can be provided in new “Script Variant” field.

Improvements

  • Improved address clustering by introduction of new AI-based clustering.

Bug fixes

Data Validation and Processing

  • Correct ISO 3166 Alpha-2 code HK for Hong Kong and PR for Puerto Rico (instead of country codes CN - China and US - United States) as per BPDM and ISO standard.

  • Improved validation process for site records to ensure invalid Business Partner Site Numbers (BPNS) are reported with a clear error instead of causing processing interruptions.

  • Resolved an issue where certain country codes were not processed correctly following the transition to ISO 3166 Alpha-2 country codes.

  • Added validation to ensure manually curated records contain only supported Latin character sets where required.

Multilingual and Script Variant Support

  • Fixed issues that could cause unexpected errors when processing records containing script variants.

  • Resolved cases where script variant values were missing from output data.

  • Fixed the creation of legal site main addresses when script variants are included in submitted data.

  • Ensured name information is preserved during processing when address type information is not provided.

  • Improved compatibility of the AI translation component following recent platform updates.

Site and Address Management

  • Fixed an issue that could prevent site creation in specific scenarios involving incomplete source data.

  • Resolved cases where site records containing both a site main address and a legal address were not handled correctly.

  • Fixed an issue where adding a legal address as an additional address could unintentionally replace the existing site main address.

Workflow and Operational Stability

  • Corrected an issue that could cause records to be repeatedly routed to manual curation instead of progressing through the normal workflow.

BPNA Consolidation in BPDM address data

Following the release, we will consolidate existing duplicate address records. This means some existing BPNA will change. The planned rollout days are:
