Manage App User Access

Manage which users in your organization can access specific applications subscribed to through the Cofinity-X Marketplace

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure the following requirements are fulfilled:

  • Your company has already subscribed to the desired app.

  • You have the required permission to assign app roles.

  • The target users are already added to your company via User Management.

Where to find it

  • Navigate to User Management from the top-right user menu.

You'll see a list of apps your company is currently subscribed to.

Assign Roles to Users

  • Click on the desired app tile (e.g. Dataspace OS). You’ll be taken to the App Roles page for that app. Available roles (e.g. view, write, admin) will be displayed.

⚠️ Each app may have different role definitions. Ensure you review the description before assigning. The App User Roles are defined during the App Publishing Step

  • Scroll down to the App Users section. Click Add Roles for multiple users to assign roles.

Your Accessible Apps

Once you've subscribed to an app or service in the Marketplace and have been assigned the appropriate role (e.g., view, write, or admin), it will appear under Your Accessible Apps.


How to Access It

  • Go to the Homepage of the Cofinity-X Portal

  • Scroll down until you see the section titled Your Accessible Apps

  • Apps will only appear here after roles have been assigned via User Management → App Access Management

If you’ve subscribed to an app but don’t see it listed, make sure the right roles have been assigned to you.
