Overview
The Multi App Subscription feature allows your organization to subscribe to the same application multiple times. Each subscription creates a fully independent app instance that can be configured and managed separately.
This enables you to operate multiple parallel deployments of the same app within your organization without interference between instances.
Each subscription:
Has its own Identifier
Has its own lifecycle and status
Has independent user role assignments
May incur separate costs depending on the App Provider
Who Is This For?
This feature is intended for organizations that:
Require multiple parallel instances of the same app
Separate environments such as development, testing, and production
Operate across multiple departments or subsidiaries
Manage different projects requiring isolated configurations
Each subscription instance behaves independently and does not affect other subscriptions of the same app.
Getting Started
Subscribing to an App Multiple Times
Navigate to the APP Marketplace in the portal.
Select the app you want to subscribe to.
On the App Details page, click Subscribe.
Complete the subscription process.
A confirmation message will appear once your subscription request is successfully triggered.
To create an additional instance:
Return to the same App Details page.
Click Subscribe again.
Complete the subscription flow.
You may repeat this process as often as required.
Note: Each subscription is created as a new, independent contract with the App Provider. Existing subscriptions will not be modified or overwritten.
Managing Your Subscriptions
Viewing All Subscription Instances
To see all active instances of an app:
Navigate to Marketplace -> App & Service Subscriptions
Locate the relevant app
Each subscription instance is listed separately and displays:
App Title
Current Status
Unsubscription Option
Assigning Roles and Permissions per Instance
Roles and access rights are scoped per subscription instance.
Granting a role for one instance does not grant access to other instances of the same app.
To manage roles:
Navigate to User Management β App Access Management
Select the specific subscription instance you want.
You will see:
Available app roles defined by the App Provider
All active portal users in your organization
Click Add Roles for multiple users to assign roles
To modify existing roles, click Edit and add or remove roles as needed.
Best Practice: Always verify the Subscription (Service) ID before assigning roles to ensure permissions are applied to the correct instance.
Cancelling (Unsubscribe) a Subscription
Navigate to Marketplace β App & Service Subscriptions
Select the specific subscription instance you wish to cancel.
Click Unsubscribe.
Confirm your action when prompted.
Only the selected instance will be cancelled. All other subscriptions of the same app remain active.
